As Managing Director of Urban Trust, LLC a tax credit real estate investment capital advisory firm Andrew Ham has been actively involved in providing historic tax credit equity capital, tax credit investment transaction advice, and historic property rehabilitation since the late 80’s. Ham is a recognized expert on the financing of tax credit enhanced real estate and the structuring of historic rehabilitation real estate transactions. His real estate background includes development, leasing, underwriting and property management.

Mr. Ham received his BA Degree from Widener University and an MS degree from Virginia Tech. He lectures on the historic tax credit and historic rehabilitation at the University of Florida and has also lectured at the University of Georgia, Athens. Ham is a frequent speaker on tax credit and rehabilitation topics at seminars and state conferences.

His clients have included developers, corporations and non-profits throughout the Southeast. The firm has a special expertise in structuring and financing tax credit investment transactions involving public/private partnerships and for tax-exempt owners of historic properties. Ham’s 2013 client projects include the $44 million Laura Street Trio and the $35 million Barnett center for Innovation in Jacksonville, FL, the $18.6 million State Bank Building and the $5.6 million Main Street Lofts in Little Rock, AR, the $2.5 million Castle Building rehabilitation in Atlanta, GA and the $62 million Exchange Place Lofts in Wichita, KS.

Ham is also Vice-President of Community Development Partners, Inc., a niche real estate development company specializing in public/private partnership development projects and Managing Director of SouthEast Capital Services, LLC and its SouthEast Community Investment Fund, a capital investment firm based in Jacksonville, Florida.
